The owner's side

One team.
Working for you.

Building in Cambodia means coordinating architects, contractors, suppliers and officials — often from another country, with no easy way to check what's really happening on site.

KAMP acts on the owner's side of the table, not the contractor's — managing that coordination on your behalf.

Built for the tropics

Built for Cambodia,

a catalogue.

Cambodia's heat, humidity and heavy rain demand a different approach to construction. We favour practical building standards designed for the local climate — from thermal insulation and reflective roofing to natural ventilation, generous shading and durable finishes. The goal is simple: a home that stays more comfortable, lasts longer and relies less on air conditioning.

Double brick wall under construction showing the insulating air gap
Thermal insulation

Double-wall construction, built to reduce heat transfer

Double-wall construction, air gaps and insulated roofs help reduce heat transfer and keep interiors more comfortable.

Passive ventilation diagram — airflow across a pond cooling the home
Natural ventilation

Airflow designed in from the start

Where the layout allows, openings and orientation are designed to encourage cross-ventilation and natural airflow, reducing reliance on air conditioning.

Solar & rain protection

Deep roof lines, real shade

Where appropriate, deep roof overhangs help shield façades, windows and outdoor spaces from intense sun and tropical rain.

Durable finishes

Finishes chosen to last

We favour proven materials and systems that perform well in Cambodia's demanding climate, from aluminium joinery to quality paint and electrical systems.

This is a small sample. Structure, electrical, waterproofing, water supply — every standard we build to is detailed on one page.

About KAMP

KAMP represents
you, the owner —
not your contractor.

"Every project deserves the attention it would receive if it were our own."

Based in Kampot since 2020, we provide independent project management for residential and hospitality construction in Cambodia: coordinating the people involved in your project, monitoring construction quality, and reviewing costs and schedule so that decisions are made with your interests in mind.

Many of our clients are not permanently in Cambodia. Our digital approach makes remote project management simple, with clear reports, organised documentation and visibility throughout the build.

KAMP is built on over 20 years of construction experience, including hands-on knowledge of vernacular building methods in Cambodia — and of where quality is most easily and quietly sacrificed. We never sacrifice construction quality to win a contract.

What our clients
say about us.

Unedited, from two clients who built from abroad.

"
David and the team at Salager Management were an invaluable part of our house-building journey. Acting as the bridge between us and the contractor, David expertly managed complex design and engineering requirements with professionalism, clear communication, and attention to detail. We cannot imagine successfully navigating such a challenging project in Cambodia without his guidance and the support of his team.
Dennis W. Villa Monorom · Kampot, Cambodia · Completed 2020
"
I was able to follow the entire project remotely — and everything was ready when I moved in a few months later. The project was delivered on time, within budget, and the quality was exactly what I had in mind. The contractors provide excellent after-sales service and respond promptly whenever an intervention is needed. I highly recommend Salager Management for the peace of mind and professionalism they bring.
